A majority of the projects completed by Woodruff Construction were designed personally by Woody Woodruff himself. Through inspiration from architects such as Greene and Greene, Frank Lloyd Wright and others, Woody has created functional and elegant designs with a multitude of factors in mind, such as the clients preferences, the location, the terrain, solar aspects, colors, lighting and more. Each of the homes designed and built by Woodruff Construction are unique and designed with the character and tastes of the individual client in mind. Each specific site is also studied for its character so the completed project lends itself best to views, terrain, solar gain and/or shade, natural landscaping, functionality and aesthetics. Often organic materials indigenous to the site or area can be used to create timeless designs that create a project whose actual age is difficult to determine. Woodruff Construction has also proven to be very successful working with reputable architects and architectural firms from around the country, as well as structural engineers, soils experts, geologists, archaeologists, botanists and other professional services involved in building projects.
